Douwe Zijp
Chief Executive Officer
Douwe Zijp was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Management of Nunhems in October 2004.
He was born in Groningen, the Netherlands, on August 24, 1956. He studied Business Administration at the University of Groningen and started his career at the Nederlandse Gasunie in 1980. He joined the agricultural industry in 1990, holding various senior management positions within Schering Netherlands, later AgrEvo Benelux, and in the AgrEvo Headquarters in Berlin. In 1998 Douwe Zijp joined the Nunhems predecessor company Nunza, first as Corporate Controller and from 2001 onwards as CFO.
