Great interest for Business Event For Experts
Bologna (Italy). About 120 visitors, from insiders to Nunhems’ customers, have attended the BEFE at FICO Eataly World in Bologna, Italy. The focus of the event has been the innovation in the fruit and vegetable sector: which type of innovation is possible in the sector and which marketing strategies should be used to “go forward” and catch the new opportunity of the market.
Stefano Carducci (Country Sales Manager Italy) opened the event emphasizing the need to innovate to seize important business opportunities. Stefano said: “We need to change perspective and think from the customer’s point of view, breaking the frame of mind and looking at our neighbor as an opportunity and not a threat.”
Immediately after Jose Antonio Salinas Reyes (Country Head Italy) reported some news from Nunhems world, now part of BASF group, while the morning ended with Enzo Baglieri - Professor of Operations & Technology of Management School of Bocconi – that spoke about the importance of innovation and producing relationships that create values. In conclusion Baglieri gave his “secret recipe” to innovate, useful to every businessman.
In the afternoon Baglieri led an interactive workshop about “Innovation and future challenges”, making the audience interact with multiple choice questions about some key topics related to innovation in the horticulture field.
Finally, Stefano Carducci introduced the Round Table, dedicated to innovative case histories of success. On the stage, there were four leading experts who were able to innovate in the fruit and vegetable field.
Carducci concluded saying that “We are very satisfied about the interest raised by this year’s BEFE; with this follow-up meeting Vegetable Seeds aims at supporting companies in every aspect of development of successful innovative marketing projects, rewarding the consumer and generating profit”.
