You are our number one priority! Also now.

Dear Customers,

In agriculture, we know what it means to operate in uncertainty. Yet, with all that has happened the last few days around the Coronavirus/COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to you directly to let you know how BASF Vegetable Seeds is responding. Our customers and employees remain our number one priority. To ensure business continuity we are taking all steps to safeguard the health and safety of our employees, customers and communities.

Our teams and production facilities continue to operate as scheduled:

  • To date, there have been no material shortages or supply interruptions, and the impact to our operations is limited as it relates to COVID-19
  • All seed processing facilities are currently running
  • While our warehouses have modified hours, all are currently operational and functioning
  • Logistics and transportation teams are currently operating as scheduled

We continue to operate sales and business as usual and will remain a key partner in your operation. Obviously as the current situation is unprecedented we may face more challenges, limitations and uncertainties that may be outside our control. Please be assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and continuously evaluating the likely consequences to our business depending on the severity, spread and duration of the pandemic.

We also ask your understanding for the fact that while information and conditions are continuing to change rapidly for us all, it may not be possible to provide an immediate update on each new development or requirement; however, we will be focused upon specific customer needs, orders and forecasts as we navigate this continually evolving environment.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your usual BASF Vegetable Seeds representative or contact our customer support. We understand this is a changing and challenging situation, as you think about your needs in the near future, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Kind regards,

Hema Abichandani and Frank Claessens
resp. Vice President Marketing & Sales and Operations BASF Vegetable Seeds
