What immediately stands out is the compact, symmetrical vine with six perfectly shaped
tomatoes and a uniform deep red color. Its uniformity, firmness and visual appeal make Showvine ideal for both bunch and loose harvest. Thanks to the uniform vine structure, harvesting is quick and easy, with less risk of damage during packaging and transport.

In the greenhouse, it shows its best side. The plant is long and vigorous, but remains manageable thanks to an open crop structure and strong thighs. It reacts flexibly to pruning, temperature changes and light conditions, as well as remaining surprisingly stable under stress.

The rapid cluster formation and ripening offers the possibility to deliver early in the season; at the exact moment when prices are often most favorable. This translates into a high yield per square meter, without compromising on quality.

Meanwhile, the variety has been extensively tested in trials placed throughout Europe, for which it has gone through the regular six-year development process. In addition, it has also been tested as a main crop in practice at tomato grower De Bakker Westland, unlighted on six hectares, the results of which are promising.
