Violi wins award in innovation category at MacFrut

BASF Vegetable Seeds partners with its customers and has developed and co-created present various product and concept innovations together with customers. “Violi Group,” a BASF Vegetable Seeds partnership with a group of 3 Italian artichoke growers/traders, won the Silver Price in the Seed/Varieties Innovation Category at Macfrut.

“Violi Group officially started its operations in 2018. Winning this award in the very first year, is a big boost for everybody,” says Vito Carrieri, Account Manager Artichoke at BASF Vegetable Seeds in Italy. The group plans to expand its product reach in all major Italian retail chains, will add green artichokes to its portfolio, and will start exporting to other countries in the coming years. BASF Vegetable Seeds is the owner of the brand and supports the group in all marketing activities and retail connections.
