At BASF | Nunhems, we develop high-performing vegetable seed varieties and solutions that help growers and the entire value chain respond to a rapidly changing world. With over 100 years of breeding experience, we combine genetics, data, and global partnerships to deliver vegetables people love — today and for generations to come. 

Every market is unique. That’s why we tailor our seed varieties to specific climates, growing systems, and cultural preferences. With 2,000 employees across 100+ countries, we bring together a vast network of expertise of growers, researchers and technology partners to drive innovation and deliver results.

Our team 
We’re a team of about 2,000 people from all over the world who share a passion for vegetables and innovation. Some of us work in research and breeding, others in production, marketing, or customer support — but we all work closely together. 

About a third of us are focused on research and development, creating new varieties and solutions for growers. But no matter what our role is, we stay connected to what happens in the field. We talk to growers, visit customers, and learn from partners to make sure our work really makes a difference.
